I just started delving into editing my music playlist through xbmc, and it's a very powerful interface.
One problem: If I'm adding songs from the left column, I would use the backspace key to go "one higher" to the album level. The problem is if I'm in the right column (current playlist), it will bump me out of the playlist and potentially lose any edits I made in the playlist since last saving it.
Three options:
1 - Disable backspace if the right column is active
2 - Automatically save the playlist after each edit
3 - If leaving the screen can potentially lose data, ask if you want to save the playlist prior to changing screens.
I choose option 3, since that's most consistent with expected application behaviour.
