Hi

I am busy changing from using a smb share from my Qnap nas to a FTP.

I am now having a few issues.

1. No TV shows have any folder thumbnails/fanart
2. Movie sets dont have any thumbnails/fanart at all
3. Instead of the movie posters (dvd covers), a movie scene is displayed as the thumbnail

I have added the follwing script to the advanced settings .xml

I use media companion to scrape all info. Each Movie is saved in its own folder

tv show Sxx.Exx episode title.container
tv show Sxx.Exx episode title.nfo

etc

It all worked well on the smb, just a little slow. Trying FTP in the hope it's a quicker

Doing this after the ATV2 decided to freeze. Ultimate solution was to restore in itunes and re jb. As i didnt have a good b/up of things I have decided to take the opportunity to change things around a bit.

Update.

Decided to revert to SMB share. Results on thumbnails are better than with ftp.

Still having issues with:

- Movie sets thumbnails: Nothing.
- Not all movies have thumbs
- of those which do, most of them are screenshots from the movie, not the dvd tbn

Actions so far:

Removed FTP sources and all associated files from ATV2 GUI
Deleted all thumbnails in xbmc cache on NAS.
Deleted textures6.db via SSH in /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/userdata/Database

Added SMB sources via ATV2 GUI
Updated libraries, but not all thumbs are displayed on ATV2 GUI

I have the exact same problem in my XBMC 13.1 Gotham

I run SMB through my NAS and on all my other installations at home (3 PCs and 1 Amazon fireTV with the same source.xml) is working as it should. Apple TV2 is just scanning random folders and only about 5% at max.

All my folders in a Source has a video file and a "folder.jpg" inside

Movies (source)
- Movie 1 (folder)
- Movifile.mkv
- Folder.jpg
- Movie 2 (folder)
- Movifile.mkv
- Folder.jpg
..

I even deleted my whole userdata folder on the Apple TV but that didn't do anything either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
