When attempting to ssh into my ubuntu server running mysql for xbmc I get a failed attempt about 8/10 times. The server running 11.04 is a passario 6000, which google shopping had it listed about 250.00, but I'm sure of the specs.I can't find them on google.
All of my XBMC installations hang for a minute just right after the eden screen.
Checking my mysql - SHOW DATABASES; returns info schema and mysql, but no myvideo database.
I've read through the wiki a few times about how to use the mysql databse with XBMC, but haven't had any luck.
I was however, able to do it when I setup my OSX with mysql.
Could the problem be in my slow server.? I estimate my server to be bought around 2003. So its old!
Upon logging in I get "System information disabled due to load higher than 1.0"
= the desktop
There are some stats on server load from ubuntu.
Process
--------
CouchPotato
AirVideo
Headphones
Maraschino
Siclbeard
Sabnzbd
mt-daapd
transmission-daemon
MySQL
Currently I triple boot, OSX, Ubuntu, and Windows - Is it possible to install mysql on my more powerful laptop for every OS and just set everything up the same?
I have 2 AppleTV's and 1 AppleTV1, is it possible to install mysql perhaps on AppleTV1?
