I'm not exactly sure when or how it started, but I've noticed the occasional horizontal line during some faster moving scenes. It existed on XBMC 10.1 and 11.0. I've played the videos on other plays with no issues. Its been a variety of different videos. They're all SD rips.

While typing, I'm noticing a slight flicker I never noticed before. Only briefly. (maybe unrelated)

My hardware is a Acer Revo 3610 connected via HDMI
My TV is a Hannspree 28" 16x10" TV, capable of 1920 by 1280
Resolution:
Nvidia Control Panel: (drivers up to date)
Scaling Tab: Aspect Ration, perform scaling on Display. The resolution is 1920x1080
I enabled desktop resizing and set it to 1842 x1036 so I could see the Windows taskbars, screen, etc

My System video settings are as follows:
Video Playback:
Render Method: Auto detect
Allow hardware acceleration (DXVA2): Enabled
Adjust display refresh rate to match video: Disabled
Sync playback to display: Disabled
Allow error in aspect ration to minimize black bars:None
Display 4:3 video as: Normal

Video Output:
Display Mode: Full Screen 1
Resolution: 1842x1036
Use Full Screen window rather than true Fullscreen: Enabled
Vertical Blank Sync: Always Enabled

Audio Output:
Audio output: HDMI
Speaker Config: 2.0
Boot volume levels on downmix: Disabled
Dolby Digital AC3 capable reciever: Enabled
DTS capable reciever: Disabled
Audio output Device: DirectSound: NVIDIA HMDI out

Hi there!

I have noticed a similar problem with video playback in eden. Have you made any progress on this?

Disable the "use a fullscreen window" setting. Enabling this setting slows down video rendering and can cause tearing i.e. a horizontal discontinuity in the image.
