Hi, Thanks for looking at this issue. I should also add that putting the movie year between the double slashes only fixes the link for English movie releases. For foreign movies, more needs to be inserted. For example,

was being scraped as

http://www.impawards.com//posters/douches_froides.jpg

When going in to XBMC Settings - Add-ons - Enabled Add-ons - Movie Information - Universal Movie Scraper - Configure.
In here the UMS settings for poster and fanart were enabled.

However in the individual movie Sources under Files i.e. "Movies" and "Kids Movies" folders, if I brought up the context menu and edited the source, I could see that UMS was selected as the scraper, but when looking at the UMS settings from here poster and fanart were not selected. So I have edited each movie source and turned on those options now.

I don't seem to be getting any Poster or Fanart images when adding new movie titles with the Universal Movie Scraper. I have double checked the settings and for both Posters and Fanart TheMovieDB is enabled.

I just added a new film call Jack Reacher, UMS adds it to the movie library OK, I get a synopsis and actor images etc but no Poster or Fanart are displayed.

How should UMS behave when there are existing Folder.jpg cover images in each movies folder ?

Its seems to be acting odd and adding new posters images for some movies and not others depending on the size / dimensions of the Folder.jpg that already exists, please see here for full details and screen shots.

Think I got to the bottom of the issue with existing folder.jpg's being present and why XBMC / UMS assigned new poster images for some movie titles and not others. Please see here for full description, screen shots and logs.

If UMS cannot assign new posters for all my movies if a folder.jpg is already present? Then another option would be to have Artwork Downloader create a new Poster.jpg in to each movies folder. However this doesn't seem to be working for me either when running AD in either Solo or Auto modes. It is also not creating new fanart.jpg images in these modes.

The movie "The Details" (tt1433207) is being given the year 2012, not 2011. Is this a bug, or do I have a bad setting?

EDIT I see that it was released in the US in 2012 in box offices, but in 2011 at Sundance. I'm not sure which year should be used, but this is probably not an issue. Thanks.

I don't know if that has be asked/answered before, anyway

Is it possible to grab a specific aka title for every movie and store it in the original title field (since there is no other field to store it)
The reason for that is because i want to show/know the Greek title for every movie except the International/English title.

I think that would be great for any Non English individual, to also show the tile of the movie in his/her country

**Here's my setup**
- Win 8 Pro
- Clean/new XBMC 12.2 Frodo install
- UMS 2.4.3
- 400++ movies stored & accessible via NAS/SMB
- NO MYSQL SETUP; this is a local PC test setup; so database and thumbs are all local pc


OK; here's what i did, i read the first 20 or so pages of this forum; got abit tedious after that. i jumped to the last 10 pages. Nada. no mention regarding casts (or i read too damn fast for my own sake)

Checked the changelog.txt; OK, there was something mentioned of a modification in [Cast] in ver. 2.1.0; but no details there

Checked [universal.xml] , [addon.xml] and [settings.xml]. looked for the keyword [cast] but couldnt find anything useful


So here's the problem i'm having; why is UMS/IMDB the cast-list to only 15pax max? Every random movie i test the cast list max's at 15. Am i missing something somewhere here? Dont get me wrong; not many people may pay attention to the cast list; but when you've got something like Black Hawk Down, The Hobbit and LOTR with a MAJOR cast list bigger than 15 pax; you'd want the whole list to be downloaded and linked with any other movies....

So.. me .. ask-ie.. help-ie.. please? Somebody? Anybody?

UPDATE : Aww screw it! Its a real [FACE-PALM] moment! You're all welcome to [B****-SLAP] me later! I was working under the assumption that there was only the options of TMDB or IMDB for the [CAST] in the settings. I DID NOT KNOW that there was another IMDBfull option for the complete cast list. The answer was in this forum page 32... i stopped somewhere in the mid-20's pages before my eyes screamed sleep...... MY BAD!!!

Is there still no way for the tomatometer with percentages to be shown on the screen? I have been trying to get rottentomatos percentage and tomatometer ratings on XBMC since the beginning and have never been able to find a solution.
