XBMC - The Eden Guide
#1
You probably know me from my previous guide on XBMC called "The Dharma Guide" (see here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=99826).
I updated the guide to Eden and hope you enjoy it (and also get some help from it).

What is present in this guide?
1. XBMC - Complete guide to the setup (sources, libraries, customizations, etc.)
-> Including a full guide to the "Advanced Launcher"-Add-On
2. Sabnzbd - Complete guide to sabnzbd
3. Couch Potato - Complete guide to the Couch Potato program
4. Sickbeard - Complete guide to the Sickbeard program

In a nutshell:
I'll explain how to setup a PVR without actually owning one or using live-tv. Sickbeard and Couch Potato will give you the possibility to fully automatize your Home Entertainment Solution.

Give it a go - critic is always welcome, just post what is bugging you.

Nice, nice, Like it. Read it very fast for now...
Just a thought: on page 9: Automatic cleaning of the library
There should be a warning there!
When you have your media stored to a NAS-device or other external device and for some reason, your network is down or your NAS is down. It will delete your complete library and if you have not saved your library, you can start all over again...
You don't need to put that it in, but I think that's a fair warning Big Grin

I'm fairly certain that it was in there at some point - someone must have deleted it before I clicked "Save" Wink
It's changed now - the warning is now in there!

Edit: Ah - now I see. The warning is there, but not in that section. You can find it under "Library Settings" in "Additional Settings".
However - I will keep the warning in place for automatic cleaning.

@Ned: Is it possible to move this thread to the how-to section? This would ensure that the Guide won't miss it's audience Smile

Nice guide

Small thing I noticed, The Left, Right, Up, & Down keys don't just move you around the UI, they also skip 30sec back, ahead, 10 minutes ahead, or back, respectively. Or was this changed in Eden?

Still reading....
