Hi guys,
I'm new with XBMC and I would like to know if it does or will play Blu-ray Discs?
I'm looking for a way to completely get off M$ and Apple when it comes to computers, so I'm looking to see if I can play Blu-ray discs on a Linux machine.
Thanks.
Will it play BDs?

If you're asking about retail i.e. encrypted BDs, then no XBMC will not play them. It has the ability for unencrypted or ripped BDs, but that's it. There is limited menu functionality for ripped BD isos from what I've heard, but I've not tried it out personally.
On the Linux front there's really no way to play encrypted BDs fully out of the box. You can run MakeMKV and stream BDs, there's a thread in the howto section about it, but that's all I really know of right now. |

Thanks for the info, I will try MakeMKV to see if it can let me watch BDs on a Linux machine.
