I have several different installations of XBMC on a couple of machines in my home, specifically a Windows installation and a dedicated installation of XBMCbuntu. I have been trying to set up a remote app on my phone to control it, but have been unsuccessful. In addition, I am also unable to access the web interface for either installation. My browser just doesn't recognize the address. Some details of what I've tried already:
- I have checked and double checked my IP address
- I have tried several different ports, confirming that they are open
- I have adjusted XBMC's network settings to allow control through HTTP, and I also have the option active to allow control from other devices
I'm out of ideas at this point, and quite frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
