audio sync
#1
Hi!

I`m having some problems with audio sync on my xbmc-installation that I cant figure out.
I`ve tried different settings in the Video page under Settings, but cant get it to work right.

It seems like it falls out of sync when I start a video, and it changes resolution, so the audio is always
ahead of the video, sometimes over half a second. When playing the same video in VLC its in perfect sync.

My setup:
-Asrock 330HT Nvidia ION
-Windows 7
-XBMC v11
-Onkyo TXSR608 reciever

Any ideas?

Thanks Smile

Maybe you have pressed a setting in audio settings:

check the stream isn't delayed.
Otherwise posting a debug_log (wiki) to pastebin then pasting the link back here is the way to go next.

I got it!

I had "Adjust display refresh rate to match video" enabled. This caused the display to go black for a while, while I heard the audio, and when the video
showed it was out of sync. When turned off it starts the video right away, in sync.

Thanks anyway!
