The result if you try to input that char:
ñ = ~n
ã = ~a
o = ~o
Etc..
This is a very common char in portuguese. How to input this?

But it would make sense to have different virtual keyboards (like QWERTY or azerty), based on language/country. Besides, more intelligence (special chars, predicting, etc.) would come in handy in controlling your Media Center. The patch in 3257 suggests to make an gui or advanced setting option to toggle the different keyboard layouts. But with more and more touch devices, handling User Input will be much more actual. So maybe some patches will show up...
