Does it have a PCI-E slot open on the mobo? If so, pop in a cheap GT520 or HD6450 and you've got a nice little box that will playback 1080p.

I would put this in the bedroom but the wife would take it right out. Any more ideas guys? It might just go to the parents house for an internet box. unless you guys come up with an awesome idea.

Media server? Amahi or Windows Home Server maybe. If it doesn't have enough SATA ports, drop in a SATA card. I have an old Dell GX280 as my home server for quite a while.

Put it in a new case with a 6450. Or build a case. Is it microATX?

1. file server / add one of the following: dvb s2/t/c cards, to turn it into a tv server for XBMC PVR
or 2.
