Record what's playing and skip duplicates

Hi,

First of all: Thanks for a fantastic piece of software!

I've got two questions regarding use:

1. I'm sharing my flat and we're having three computers with media. One large server with shared data, and then one puter each. The server is on 24/7 and is our preferred source. Is there a way to say that "if a file is in share x, ignore that it's also in share y"? What happens is that we sometimes have a film both on our private computer and on the server it's shown as two copies, and one of them might not work depending on if that computer is on or not. So what we want is basically: scan server, don't show films/series also on the other computers.

2. The second question is if it's possible to record what's being played. We're having a smallish SSD drive on the HTPC running XBMC and it would be great if it was possible to automatically record what's being played, for instance when one of is looking at something streamed only expected to be around for a limited amount of time.

Thanks in advance for any help!
