Hi all,
Is the above possible at all please?
I've got the second set up sharing all the files from the main set up and they are connected via an ethernet cable.
Any help would be appreciated.

I believe if you use MySQL for the backend instead of the default SQLite that the two instances (which will then share the one MySQL database) will be able to share the resume markers. I don't think there's necessarily a great guide for setting up XBMC with mySQL, but if you do some searches in the forum you should find some help.
