So many xbmc choices! AMD E450 Zotac zbox user would love some advice :)

What about performance though?
Will Windows 7 still give me smooth operation and 1080p via xbmc or would I need something like OpenElec or xbmcbuntu for that?
Sound wise im just putting it through my tv rather than a surround sound set up.

AMD E450 is pretty anemic...
under OpenELEC, performance is fine,
but under win7, 1080P will play, but XBMC's menu interface
wont be hyper fluid like you'd want.
