Win LAN really slow
#1
I have 2 PCs both with a fresh Win7 install.
The LAN was working without problems before and I was able to transfer with about 95mbs but now it takes ages just to open the shares in the explorer.
Remote Desktop, using Ember to scrape Movies on my HTPC or even transfering movies just doesnt work.

Its gigabit connection and I tried the stuff I found via google like activating full duplex and stuff. Sometimes it opens the shares instantly but some secs later it just stopped working.

Any idea?

Are they connected directly or via a router? Sometimes routers can crash or get overloaded in certain cases, causing traffic to crawl (too many connections caused by an active BitTorrent connection can bring lots of routers to their knees, for example, even if the BitTorrent connection isn't touching local traffic).

Router into GB switch.
The thing is that internet and downloads works perfect.

This isn't really XBMC related is it? Or when you talk about opening shares in explorer are you refering to the file explorer in XBMC?

Are you using NFS or SMB shares?

SMB
Nope I dont think its a XBMC bug or something because it happens with every network connection.
