Well, it looks like the issue is specifically related to that cinnamon issue you posted about. However, I did also re-install and reconfigure xorg-core. Tested it out in MATE and all looks good. Hope it doesn't take to long for that bug to get resolved. Once it's fixed, I'll never log into MATE. I understand that Cinnamon is new and still be developed, but I like it a lot. MATE is nice but not enough eye-candy for me

I just got back home today and was about to have a look at an xorg.conf for you. If you like the old gnome you will like mate. It's improved a lot. I like the speed of mate on my system (i7 2600K, 8GB ram and SSD) |
