Linux zotac nano AD10 : no sound

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 and XBMC Eden.
Connected by HDMI to a Panasonic TX-32LX70f LCD television.
in Ubuntu no problems with the sound. (hdmi & audio output jack)
in XBMC i hear only a strange noise. No sound at all; not on the television not on a headphone
what are the correct audio-settings ?
