Dirac video codec decoder

i know you don't want people posting about specific codecs, however, this could end up being as big as xvid. the dirac codec is developed by the bbc, who will probably start encoding their own content using it, and many others will probably follow suit. there are already patches for mplayer and ffmpeg available here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles..._id=102564
if that means it is easy to implement into the xbmc code, i'd consider doing so.

standard answer; get ffmpeg and mplayer to implement it first, (we will follow suit later after it's already supported by mplayer).
ps! a simple e-mail to ffmpeg's development mailing-list would probebly sort that out in this specific case (since patches exists).
