Hi

i have a Toshiba Regza 55WL863 TV (on that note im from Denmark) and ive been adding files to XBMC and are trying to play them on the home network but when i try to play the files ive added its telling me "Media Playback Error" and i have no idea what to do are there any of you guys that have an idea on how to get it to work ?

also the TV dosent appear to recognize the series i have added.

First port of call would be a debug log (wiki). Easiest way to get the log would be to install the XBMC debug log add-on mentioned there from within XBMC.

Are you using the DLNA server on the TV to play the files from XBMC's UPnP server? If so the TV may not be able to handle the format you've stored the video in. Alternatively it might just be because the XBMC UPnP server is a bit buggy. There are plans to improve the XBMC UPnP server but this is a medium term project at best.
