I've used many years ago an xbox with XBMC (or XBMP for a while) installed on it, and using a dedicated HTPC since the first days of the Linux port but I need something small like an Apple Tv for business trips or vacation. ATV2 is not really an option because I need one with a hard drive. I have though two main concerns about buying the Apple TV1 G with a Bradcom Card.
The first is the Sync to Display function in XBMC.
Is it possibe with the Apple Tv to have the menu displayed at 60hz and playing 23.976 fps material in 24p and 25 fps material in 50 hz ?
And the second is the ability to suspend. Or anything similar where I can just push a button on the remote and a few secs later I got XBMC running.
