As far as I know the wireless one is a bit dodgy. I have the corded one working no worries at all with xboxdrv (http://pingus.seul.org/~grumbel/xboxdrv/)

Just tried it again as I have one. Yes it does work however when you turn off your xbmc box, the controller stays on waiting for something to talk to it.
You then have to pull out the batteries just for a second to turn the controller off.

Yup. Above link is exactly what I have done. Here is my keymap for my controller. It will have to be copied to /usr/share/xbmc/system/keymaps

Actually i figured out last night that it was working out of the box under ubuntu, but not under xbmc. I guess your keymap will do the jobSmile il report back how it goes..

It might be working out of the box with xpad. xpad doesn't give all that many options, so its better to use xboxdrv.

Thanks for all your help guys

I now have it working with both the snes emulator and within xbmc.. But how can I be sure it uses the xboxdrv and not xpadder. Why I ask is because before I installed xboxdrv I thought the responce was a little to slow, and it still is after the xboxdrv is installed.
