Well technically Batman lives in Wayne mannor which is outside Gotham City (I think).
Gotham is a nickname: http://hotword.dictionary.com/big-apple-gotham/ Also I thought the dark knight was set in New York but had extra bits (such as "wayne towers" and the monorail thing) So strictly it's not a mythical place... we wouldn't want the police to arrest us for not giving a proper code name to XBMC

I am already annoyed about the "Frodo" thing. And if the next one is named "Gandalf" I'll stop using XBMC

It should be noted that v12's code name, Frodo, is in honor of one of the founding devs of XBMC, not the hobbit.
You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc |

Thanx to everyone for all your suggestion!
We've had a team meeting last night and, amongst others, we decided on the new codename for XBMC 13.0 It wasn't an easy decision as so many good and fitting names have been brought up. The general team feeling was, our new name should reflect the direction XBMC is heading in the years to come. Since one of our main focusses will be 'WAF' (Wife Acceptance Factor), the team almost unanimously voted for: (2012-05-04 01:04)Martijn Wrote: Girls We feel we have neglected this part of XBMC far to long and hope we can give something back to the ones who've felt ignored for all this time, by dedicating the codename to them. To top it all off, here is a very early developers preview of XBMC Girls v13.0: XBMC-Girls-V13.0.jpg Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
