Hi Everybody , have just found XTMC and love it.
Is there an existing means to stream your movie library through a wireless router to your smart TV ... or ..
is this a future feature .. if not any suggestions at to a good freeware alternative. { not inpressed with Microsofts offering }

No. XBMC is meant to be ran from a device connected directly to the TV.

You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc

well, i think there is a GSOC developer working on this "type" of thing unless im wrong.

i am sure i saw a post where there is a dev whos working on quote;

"Improved UPnP serving and client "

which MIGHT perform the same task, but on request from tv remote, not from xbmc pushing them to tv if you get me...
