Quitting XBMC

Metropolis is by far the nicest skin I have encountered so far, but I do have one niggle. When I want to exit it to go back to the OS, I often end up activating the custom timer function in stead of the "exit" function I want. Is there any way to set the default action to "exit"?

Settings => System => Power saving => Shutdown function.
