Hey guys, I've been running xbmcbuntu for a little while now without issue. Today I turned on my HTPC, an old Revo 3600 (atom + ION), and discovered that my resolution was changed to 640x480. Running the command xrandr states that the maximum resolution is 640 x 480 so something is up. I attempted to update the Nvidia driver in hopes that the problem would fix itself to no avail. Any ideas on how to proceed? Thanks.
In Nvidia X Server Settings, I cannot access the X Server Display Configuration and it throws the error "nvidia-settings currently does not support scanout screens..."
Linux Resolution changed to 640x480 and cannot be altered

what version of the nvidia drivers are you using?
You may want to consider adding the x-swat repo to get the newest drivers. https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates |
