Hi folks,
I have a question about this. I am running version 11.0 "Eden" on a W7 x64 PC, which I use as media-player for my 3D TV. Until now I have mostly played MKV files and have not encountered one that doesn't run smooth. Of course I have enabled hardware acceleration, because otherwise my PC cannot cope.
Now I have received a MPEG video file, with these characteristics:

It does not play well. In fact, the video is extremely choppy and so is sound. It seems like hardware acceleration is not working?
I have tried to play the file using WMP Classic (from sourceforge) and that plays fine. Maybe XBMC needs an upgrade? Or am I missing something?
I have this exact problem. I'm using latest nightly build (15.8.2012). This happens only with MPEG-TS files. They play completely fine with MPC. I have K-lite mega codec pack installed with default settings. XBMC have played everything without any problems but not this.
