no music scraper

after adding a source for my music should i then get the screen where you choose a scrapper like you do in video's?

No

You should pick the scraper in settings->music
Then you can hit the context "C" menu on that source and do "scan items to library"

thankyou Martijn it was set to ALLMUSIC but that was down, ive set it up with MUSICBRAINZ now but that dosent seem to work all that well either it missed quite a few folders iv checked and they were named correctly,
is there a problem with MUSICBRAINZ at the moment?

i have my albums named like so

name of artist - album name

It doesn't matter how your albums are named.
The scraper are using the tags folder the audio files for the lookup. In case the files are incorrectly tagged, it will not work.

Use MusicBrainz Picard or another ID3 tag application to correctly tag your music files
