I have a Bluray Disc and can read the contents off the disc but it will not play. I have tried it in XBMC and VLC. I can see all the m2ts files. I have some ISO Bluray rips stored on the HDD ripped from my Windows Media Center days and they play perfectly in XBMC. Any ideas please??

Yes, you can use Makemkv, in fact there's a plugin for streaming encrypted BDs using Makemkv.
