Hi,
I am new to xbmc. I was able to install the system and it works great. I tried using some of the iPad remotes but was unable to control the system. I was able to go to http://(ipaddress):8080 and got a menu that looked to be for a mobile device
. I changed the port to 8082 on the system and when I logged on to the system with IE I got a full menu with controls that worked. 
Unfortionately these controls only work on the pc that is running xbmc. When I attempt to use my I pad I get a server time out on safari and I get a message telling me to check that the web interface is up and running by logging into http://(ipaddress):8082.
Any help will be greatly participate it.
