I am experience a very slow Music Library. I.e. music is playing fine (once I get there), but it takes a very long time to acces the Music Library, searching for songs/artists/albums, and selecting a song.
I have an AppleTV1 running XBMC through ATV Flash (FireCore).
My music stored on a Synology NAS (DS211j) which has a wired connected to my Apple TV through a NETGEAR Gibabit router.
I have a large music library of about 120 GB.
Any one any clues of what is causing this?
And more importantly, what could fasten it up to a reasonable speed? (I.e. would installing Broadcom Crystal Card have effect? Or for example dropping ATV Flash and Apple OS and switching to Linux on Apple TV lead to reasonable speed.
Many thanks and regards,
Marc
