Windows can not get add on's or update folders

Hi all i have just got into XBMC and it is absolutely amazing Big Grin

I have just bought a Lenovo Q180 and i have put XBMC on it, I first downloaded Eden but could not get any sound from HDMI so google search showed me to download the HD RC 2 which i done and now i get sound Cool but i can not seem to download any add-on or update my music or film folder ?

Do i need to delete XBMC and re-install ? if so could someone let me know the best download to use please
