Hello all,
Since there's a lot's of remote out there and users usually use more than one for specific purpose but often need the same : Start Xbmc from the remote, I propose to try to define a very simple common way for all remote writers.
Something like sending a simple UDP pattern to a configurable port.
On client side we go on a simple open source program that does it's job.
On my side I've already done a simple c# windows program that can fit this need and I hope can be ported to mono to fit Linux and Mac users.
So let me know if others dev are interested in this
