I was wondering if this remote would work on the atv2 via bluetooth.

In theory, yes, but I don't think anyone has actually tried it yet.

well they are 40 at amazon right now. not bad. might pick one up to see if it works.

This is quite a tricky remote to get working when you don't use the USB dongle (ppl report it disconnects after 5mn), even on linux, let alone on ATV2...

I wouldn't get my hope too high, but since I haven't actually tried it, you may get some kind of success if you try. Please share experiences if you do.
