Make the Adriod Remote control all the audio equipment in the room

Hi,

It occurred to me that xbmc running on a little pc with an infra red sender wired to the serial port allows the Android Remote App to control the receiver and television.

If I thought of this someone else must have. Is this in the works?

That would be highly specific to be integrated into a public app...
Besides that, XBMC would have to do a lot of additional stuff. I highly doubt that something like this will happen, ever.
