Antec ISK300-150 is cheaper on Amazon......and yes, the Antec ISK-110 is another option for this build.....

It is strictly for low 35W power consumption.....and yes, there are powerful iVy's with 35W but it's very expensive.....

Please note that the 35W power consumption is the maximum. The idle power consumption is more or less the same for the 2100 and 2120T. I don't expect many of us run prime95 in the background on our HTPC's. More important for the idle power consumption is the motherboard where the ASRock doesn't appear to be the best choice . Does anyone know if the ASRock supports undervolting the cpu?
Is there reason to believe that the upcoming Ivy Bridge core i3 will be priced higher than the current Sandy Bridge i3's?? It would be nice if the TDP is also configurable for the desktop Ivy's and not just the mobile variant.

Ha I love my cheap 2125 picked up from microcenter, if there's one around you it's an excellent alternative for $119, higher TDP but higher freq + hd3000.

Running the same openelec version the 2125 system feels significant faster than my a6-3500 system, also some problematic 720p rmvb that are causing drops on my a6 plays fine without drops on my 2125.

Atlas finding an ISK 300-65 case for my 2125 is a pain, both OOS on newegg and amazon. I think these htpc threads are stiring up demands for these boxes or is it because antec is moving production to isk 310 ....

I don't have HD3000, but I have i5 with HD2000. It can playback everything I threw at it so far.....but it is 65W though. My next HTPC will be <35W, and I'm not shooting for the more expensive iVy bridge either....

Uhm.... the best? 1080i De-interlacing quality (not: 'my cheap-ass tuner gives 10 times better quality') ok? Bitstreaming when using linux ok?
Please add the usual remarks. That build does its thing, but certainly not under all circumstances.

What is "feels significant faster? My 245e@800MHz 'feels' brutally fast. You must mean navigating in the GUI environment, correct? I can tell you that a 245e@800MHz with the Aeon MQ 3 skin (hundreds of movies and series) 'feels' extremely AND satisfying fast. The thing between fast and extremely fast is (in the case of xmbc) nothing more than illusion ('father to the thought').

Is there another 35W all-in-one CPU on the market can top Intel i3-2120T?

If your tuner can do 1080i, surf the net, playback bluray in full 1080P/bitstreaming HD audio, stream Netflix/Vudu/Amazon/Hulu/YouTube HD, transcoding bluray file in the background while watching bluray movie, etc, I want to know what brand and model of the tuner......and I want one too!

That is because you took his comment out of context. If you read his entire post, he is comparing his i3 to his a6 on the same OpenElec platform.....
