I don't expect many of us run prime95 in the background on our HTPC's. More important for the idle power consumption is the motherboard where the ASRock doesn't appear to be the best choice . Does anyone know if the ASRock supports undervolting the cpu?(2012-05-12 22:51)CpTHOOK Wrote: Kool set-up Blu..... but a few questions?Antec ISK300-150 is cheaper on Amazon......and yes, the Antec ISK-110 is another option for this build.....
1. Why the Antec ISK300-150 over the Antec ISK-110 Vesa?(Since CPU power consumption is only 35w)

Unless you chose the 2120 strictly due to it's power consumption or the fact that it is a newer processor. Y not stick with the cheaper 2100 until i3 I.Bridge is released? It is strictly for low 35W power consumption.....and yes, there are powerful iVy's with 35W but it's very expensive.....
Is there reason to believe that the upcoming Ivy Bridge core i3 will be priced higher than the current Sandy Bridge i3's?? It would be nice if the TDP is also configurable for the desktop Ivy's and not just the mobile variant.

or is it because antec is moving production to isk 310 ....
