Hi,

I just now updated from Dharma to Eden. The immediate observation is that Movie Thumbnails and Fanart (i.e. Movie covers and fanart) are no longer displaying for many movies (but not for all, for some movies it is still there).

Looking in the xbmc.log, I noticed that xbmc tries to get the image from a remote serverConfused Why is not using the locally cached copy?

Here are more system infos:

System: i686 Ubuntu Maverick 10.10. Updated less than 1 week ago (don't recall exact date, sorry).
Kernel: Linux 2.6.35-32-generic #67-Ubuntu SMP Mon Mar 5 19:35:26 UTC 2012 i686

XBMC: updated from git and built from source.
XBMC 12.0-ALPHA2 Git:20120512-3dbd083

Ok, this seems I've pulled an unstable development version from git.

Hmmm I guess I will have to add a particular release-tag? Ok will try to read more how to get a working version, but if someone has a quick suggestion, it would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Thanks a lot. That explains it. I went back to clone the Eden branch and build it now, though.
