Hi Forum,

I replaced my ATI card with an nvidia Geforce GT 520.

So far so good, but when I start XBMC in fullscreen mode, the card thinks XBMC is a 3D application and the colors (image) are distorted (red is miss-converged).
In the nvidia 3D control panel XBMC is not listed as a 3D program. So I am somehow lost getting rid of this issue. Huh

Anybody got a hint please?

This is a strange issue indeed. It had to be in the video drivers somewhere. I never install the 3D portion of the Nvidia driver, so I do not know what to look for, but it must be in there somewhere.

Read this before using these builds.

hi chang
do you mean 3D stereoscope control? you can disable these function. and check video options and switch to video-player-settings. sounds like bad color area, should be rgb.

Hi kricker, hi Nimo,

thank you guys for your kind help.

My best guess for the moment is, that something is wrong in the nvidea settings. In the XBMC controls ic can not find any settings regarding 3D stereoscope control.
I will report when i found out what causes the color distorsion.

Thank you.

I reseted the nvidia setting to their defaults and disabled the stereoscopic setting. So fa,the problem is gone. Not shure how it will be after watching a 3D Blu ray on TV with enabled stereoscopic setting.

Anyhow, i am sure that the settings in the nvidea control panel caused the problem.

Problem seems to be solved:

In the steroscopic settings is a box "Do not use seroscopic view on game start". If this box is ticked, the problem is gone.
