Is there any way to inject scraped info to files?

Hello mate, I'm a happy user of XBMC on OSX and not only...

I'd like to know if there's any plugin or setting to not only save the scraped info of a movie into the XBMC library, but also write it directly on the file...
This would very helpful for me though I don't keep every movie on the machine where I run XBMC, I usually store them on my server, and then copy them into the, unfortunately off-line, machine when I want to see them...

When I say "write to the file" I mean that the file itself is named and iconized with the proper data...
For .mp4 files I use subler which is a great tool, but the problem still when I want to scrub an .avi file, and convert all of them isn't a solution... Confused

Thank you very much for your support!

XBMC won't write or read tags saved directly inside of media (yet), but it will write and read to what are called nfo files. See the XBMC wiki page NFO (wiki).
