hi can someone give me some optimisations for a smooth experience with xbmc for windows 7? sometimes i find it being a bit slow and laggy after a while..

What are your hardware and configuration?

not great, an ER1401 emachine.

however, i find it runs really really well when it first opens but after a while, it can get laggy (like say a day open). win 7.

its not a hassle restarting the program but i was just curious.
