64mm according to the manufacturer's website: http://www.scythe-usa.com/product/cpu/04...etail.html

The Big Shuriken is 58mm: http://www.scythe-usa.com/product/cpu/04...etail.html

The model numbers are close enough it's not a surprise e-tailers mix up the specs.

Ok, thanks. The one that will fit my case is the Big Shuriken 2 Rev B and the the original non Rev B by the looks of it.
Damn annoying the difficulty in getting the right one it seems.

The model numbers SCBSK-1000 and SCBSK-2100 appear to both be the same 125 x 135 x 58 mm.

Thanks Dougie.

SCBSK-100 (Big Shuriken) is discountinued and SCBSK-2100 (Big Shuriken 2) is the new model. AFAICT, the difference is in the mounting hardware/base.

As far as I can tell from the Scythe site there are a couple of differences. The first is the mounting options (as mentioned) as the 1100 is listed as fitting older boards as well (sockets 478, 754, 939 and 940), but the newer models (2000 and 2100 aka Big Shuriken 2) add an extra heatpipe and row of fins. The Rev B (2100) also adds LGA2011 compatability.
