hey everyone just picked up a iomega prestige 2tb external hardrive to day. As of right now i have a WD 750 GB hardrive hooked up to my network. I have been able to stream movies ove my wired connection without any problems. All permissions have been set just as my WD but when i try to SMB it will let me sellect the folder (movies) that i have in there but nothing shows up after that.
everything seems to be set just like my other drive the only difference that i see is the Iomega is NTFS and the WD is FAT32
This is very frustrating if someone knows anything please help
Edit: ok i figured it out i had to go into the drives properties and in security had to set it to everyone, what a pain
