Ok I found on our forums, simple solution tutorial, how to run a video intro in skin.

I'd be interested in learning how to add intro videos to the xperience1080 startup as well.

Would it be possible to play a startup video while the initial scan executes to scrape newly added shows?

I do not know I experiment all, no luck.My skills are low in writing xml skin.
