I cannot find anywhere this elusive object which seems like something that should be sold in any old electrical store.
If I'm going to drill into my case, I want a small tinted plastic window of some description in order to not destroy my lovely Lian case with an ugly cavity in the front.

So does anyone know of any company, place or somewhere I can salvage something like this please?

I had the same problem, looked a bit but never found anything. I ended up trimming a piece of plastic out of my case and then cutting a piece to match out of an old tinted license plate cover my wife bought but never put on her car.

Yeah, it looks like something I'd have to custom make.
I've been looking at any manufacturers who make them for tv's etc. but I'm guessing it's something that's formed alongside the tv parts in the usual chinese sweatshop style factory.
