Please help me locate the source code for "Filter" and "Search" box in xbmc.
I have to modify the filter box so that it will search in entire database like "Search" but will not create another new window, but will display matching items in the current window like Filter does currently.

IIRC the filter functionality is located in xbmc/windows/GUIMediaWindow.cpp but I don't think that it's the right place to place some search logic.
Always read the online manual (wiki), FAQ (wiki) and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail Team Kodi members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules (wiki).
Please read the pages on troubleshooting (wiki) and bug reporting (wiki) before reporting issues.
