Linux XBMC Freezes when Starting Video
#1
I am running XBMCbuntu. When I try to play a specific MKV file, XBMC freezes. Rebooting and attempting to play the same file produces the same result.

I sent SIGSEGV to xbmc to generate log.

Are you running an Nvidia video card or ION system? EDIT: from the log looks like ION. There is a bug many people have where starting a video will lock up xbmcbundu, if the same thing is happening with other files try highlighting and wait 10 seconds then hit play/enter.

When you say a specific MKV, is it only happening to that one file, other MKV you can play fine? If it is only that one video, what type of video and audio stream was ripped? What if you re-rip it?

btw I hope xxx.mkv is the movie with Vin Deisel... lol

Looks like an alsa issue with audio (but what do I know)
