event server in XBMCbuntu 11

Hola XBMC gurus.

I am running XBMCBuntu 11 from a CD. I got the wifi connection working perfectly, and now my next step is to control the XBMC using my Android phone. The XBMC remote for Android requires an event server to be running on the HTPC, but I can't find any settings in XBMCBuntu 11 to enable the event server.

Any advice on how to enable the event senver would be appreciated.
