I use custom smart playlists for all my content but I really like the standard filters in the home menus. can I use "custom" to add these to my vplaylists? and if so what are the commands?

You could also replace the default action for opening movies by adding the playlist in question to your favourites and set that as default action. The filters wont be applied to your smart playlist then, but are for the default library.
Replicating the submenu is also possible, although you are limited to 5 submenu items per custom menu. I dont know if you can use those filters on smart playlists though. Its possible in frodo to make custom lists and filters : http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=130437 |

I've added Genre and Recently Added to my Smart Playlist submenu... it's the "Update Library" function that I cant seem to get working. can anyone help?
