I'm running XBMC on MAC and AppleTV2
when I choose update library, XBMC will add ._ file to library, not the movie file
so i cannot watch the movie

any one face this problem

Yep, those are little metadata files that Mac OS X makes when it touches files on a non-HFS+ formatted drive (HFS+ is the native Mac file system). I believe an app like TinkerTool should be able to disable those files, as well as making them visible so that you can delete them. They're not actually important.
