no controll

non of my video addons will let me use any of the controls in xbmc so once its started i cany change volume pause rewind oranything any ideas on how to fix this

Which video add-ons are your referring to?
Which OS/XBMC are your running?
What hardware are you running on?
Which device are you using to try to control media playback? Keyboard? Remote (if so, which one)?

Os is Ubuntu linux 10.10. Xbmc enden 11
Hardware 4gb ram 2.2ghz x6
Using both Hauppauge nova-t remote and keyboard

Neither are working for video add-ons but work for.everything else they were working fine last week aswell iv not changed anything on the system. Other than run any updates on ubuntu

  1. Launch XBMC and enable debugging (System -> Settings -> System -> Debugging -> Enable debug logging)
  2. Launch YouTube add-on and select a video to play (e.g., movie trailer)
  3. Using your keyboard, press the Plus (+) key a few times to increase volume
  4. Press the Minus (-) key a few times to decrease volume
  5. Press X to stop video and then exit XBMC
  6. Locate your XBMC debug log and post to public site such as pastebin (note the URL)
  7. Paste the URL of the posted debug log here

Looks like you are using the Aeon Nox skin... this thread may explain your problem. A fix is in the works but, in the meantime, you can try a different skin to see if that helps.
