Start youtube video from laptop?

I've searched for this feature and can't find it. I would like to be able to search for youtube videos in my regular browser and then right click and select play in XBMC and the video starts on my TV. I have this functionality on my phone. I installed the android XBMC remote which registers as a video player. When I tap a youtube video in the browser, play in xbmc is one of the options. It works great and is supper convenient. Is there something similar for firefox running on windows or Linux?

If you have chrome the tubetotv app does exactly what you are looking for.
